Vans has churned out too many special editions of its classic Era shoe to count. Some of them have been really good. Others have just been, eh (pink Hello Kitty lace-ups, anyone?) But its latest collaboration with Kenzo achieves a rare perfect balance, basically creating a kind of prototype for what the skate shoe should be: colorful, a little off-beat and cool. The collection, designed by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, features the same net graphic prints from their spring/summer ’12 collection in seven different colorways. Look for them at Kenzo stores and Opening Ceremony next month.
