Ever since New York Fashion Week, we’ve been spotting wedge-heel sneakers all over the place and on just about everyone — fashion editors, models, One Direction-loving Tweens, you name it. But do we love the look? On Jourdan Dunn, it looks model-off-duty cool. But on the average teen riding a Path train into New York from New Jersey, the shoes look a step away from Uggs territory: kind of tacky, kind of trashy. Isabel Marant kicked off the trend in high fashion land, but Ash (top left) deserves the credit for taking the trend mainstream with its cheaper alternative. Marc Jacobs Techno-bright Kishas (on the right) gets our vote for the best looking, though.
