Christian Louboutin creates glass slippers worthy of a Disney Princess. Louboutin said, “Her character and her story dictated the design to me, it was all there in the pages and word of this tale.”

The French designer was invited to create a slipper in honor of Disney’s re-release of the classic story on DVD and Blu-ray this autumn. He adds, “The dream is a major factor in my language of design.” For the Parisian that means turning make-believe into reality with a slipper crafted from delicate lace, sparkling butterflies, crystals and of course, his iconic sensual red sole.
